What a year of prep usually costs
Here is what a year of prep tools usually costs, before you pay ETS a cent to sit the exam.
Both figures are public prices: Study.com at $59.99 a month, ChatGPT Plus at $20. Our AI tutor replaces that second bill, explaining any question in plain words and drawing the math figures a chatbot can't, built for the 5757. Exam fees are not counted here because they go to ETS, not to us, whichever prep you use.
One exam. All of our effort.
We build for the 5757 and nothing else: deeper questions, a tutor trained on this one exam, and analytics that know its clock. Here is what that focus looks like, side by side (public prices and terms, July 2026):

| If you do not pass | Retakes covered, already paid for | Refund capped at 2 months, needs 90%+ practice score, deletes your progress | 7 day refund window only | Cancel the subscription | Money back guarantee |
Fine print worth knowing: 240 Tutoring's pass guarantee requires a 90%+ score on their practice test first, the official exam within 30 days of your subscription ending, and a matching score report within three months; the refund is capped at two months and your study guide and progress are deleted. Study.com is the only provider with official written by ETS questions. Union Test Prep's $19 covers the old ParaPro with about 150 extra practice questions.
The questions you’re probably still holding
What happens if I don't pass?
Your access runs a full twelve months, so a retake costs you nothing extra here. The practice tests reshuffle every run, your weak-topic data carries over, and the AI tutor keeps working from your mistakes. The only new cost is the ETS registration fee for the next attempt.
Is this a subscription? Will I get charged again?
No. You pay $19 one time and it covers twelve months. Nothing stays on file: no saved card, no monthly billing, nothing to remember to cancel. When the twelve months run out, access simply stops unless you choose to renew. You will never see a surprise charge from us.
Why 12 months instead of monthly?
Monthly plans punish you for studying at your own pace, and they are easy to forget to cancel. A year of access for $19 costs less than a single month on the big competitors at $49.99 to $59.99. You get the whole prep window without watching a clock or a renewal date, so you can study when your shifts allow.
What can I do for free?
More than you might expect. The three study maps for Reading, Writing, and Math are free, with untimed practice, progress tracking, and no card to start. Pro is what opens up the two timed full-length subtests and the personal AI tutor. Try the free side first, then decide whether Pro earns its $19.
How long does the $19 founding price last?
The $19 price covers the next 100 members, or runs until September 1, 2026, whichever comes first. September 1 is the day ETS retires the old ParaPro (1755), so every new paraeducator must take ParaPathways (5757) and demand rises. After either limit is hit, new members pay $39, later $59, and get half the AI tutor allowance (500 questions a month instead of your 1,000). Join as a founding member and both perks, the price and the double AI limit, stay locked for your full twelve months.
How is this different from 240 Tutoring, Mometrix, Study.com, or Union Test Prep?
Price: $19 once, against $49.99 to $59.99 a month on the subscription services. Fit: we are built for ParaPathways 5757, while most rivals still prep the retiring ParaPro 1755 or sell one subtest at a time. Features: two timed 5757-format subtests and a personal AI tutor that none of them offer. Union Test Prep also charges $19 a year, but it preps the old exam and adds about 150 extra questions, with no timed subtests and no tutor.
